NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR INVESTMENT SERVICES
In implementation of Directive 2004/39/EC of the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament on markets in financial instruments (MiFID) AB DnB NORD Bankas, a member of the international finance group, complies with all the requirements binding on financial institutions in relation to the provision of transparent, professional and tailored best to meet customer needs investment services. AB DnB NORD Bankas also applies all necessary measures to protect the investors’ interests and avoid the potential for a conflict of interests.
1st of November 2007 is the date of effect of the Law on Markets in Financial Instruments of the Republic of Lithuania transposing Directive 2004/39/EC of the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament on markets in financial instruments (MiFID) into the national legislation.
